It's our home. A place of outstanding natural beauty, surfer heaven, an artist's dream, the best playground there is.
You could spend a lifetime discovering this rugged, beautiful place and still leave with more to discover. Scrambling down rocks to coves such as Porthchapel, Pedn Vounder and Green Bay which become vast swathes of white sand and turquoise seas as the tide ebbs away. Beaches that can be re-discovered every time you visit as the weather and the tide alters their innate beauty.
From the raw rugged north coast stretching from St Ives to St Just with moorland and tin mines to the sub-tropical south coast with lush gardens and fishing coves such as Mousehole...there's just something about this place. We've done lots of exploring, we'll never stop exploring. Here's a little to share of our favourite spots so far....
The best woodland walk - Trevalyor woods near Penzance are a secret and magical place to explore. With a stream to play in, rope swings and bridges it's the perfect playground. Visit in Spring and see the stunning bluebells.
The best camping spot - Treen Farm Campsite is one of those really special places. Occupying one of the best positions there is with views over the Logan Rock and Porthcurno beyond. With it's own little shop and within walking distance of the pub what more could you need!
The best picnic spot - Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens are a real gem. Nestled into the south facing slopes over looking Mounts Bay and St Michaels Mount there is so much exploring to do and some really beautiful spots for a picnic.
The best BBQ spot - without a doubt, when the sun is shining, Sennen. Watch the sun set over the sea and play in the dunes. And when it gets chilly amble along to the Beach Cafe for a sundowner.
The best walk to a pub - starting at Lamorna it's a relaxing amble along the coast path to Mousehole and the The Old Coastguard. A truly beautiful place for a pit stop. Eat, drink, sleep!
