Continuing the story of our hammam towels - we would like to introduce the Hendra. It's a beautiful, soft weave, chunky towel which lends itself beautifully to all things coastal - swims, picnics and wrapping around chilly shoulders.

Situated between Penzance and Helston, Hendra beach is a favourite with its long stretches of soft, golden sand, stories of smugglers and as a great watersports setting. It also has some fantastic rock pooling. Be sure to get there for low tide when the best ones are uncovered, ideal for little explorers.

If you're after a little more hands on activities, head over to the nearby Boatshed Activity Centre. Offering lessons in surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding and the super fun coasteering, you'll definitely need your hammam towel at the ready when you're eventually ready to head to dry land.

Just around the corner is the stunning cove of Prussia, there are beautiful walks between the two where the Hendra packs up perfectly to be an outdoor companion on your adventures. 

On the other side of Hendra lies the adjoining Praa Sands. Another fantastic Cornish beach with golden sand stretching out over a mile, but with the addition of the fantastic Welloe which in their own words is 'the perfect place to spend time with family and friends over delicious food and drinks with a ringside seat for the surf and sand below.' Featuring a terrace when the weather is hot, and a log burner when it's not, it also bills live music with bands and DJ's for dancing with a seaside view.
